While mining I got a little idea about a new mining interface who will :
- looks cool
- Simplifies codding of the finder and the mining experience.
Simply put, the window who pop up when you activate your finder can be more practical and useful if she do not exist as she exist now.
Just use our actual radar.
How does it work ?
Beside all the coding behind, when you drop a bomb, it simply change the color (transparent tactical green) of the radar and add the scanning /sound effect. It can also summon a texture anchored around the radar to remember the command panel of the finder. That mean that you will have the correct position of the claim in the radar and also you can see if a mob is around or no, or a green dot. Of course in outlaws pvp area, you will see all but no green dot.
That bring the problem of interaction between map and claims.
It would be good if we can right click on a claim in our inventory to show it on the map (and radar if in range).
Now lets speak about the sucker. It would be marvellous to have the possibility to instant suck a whole claim in one time (the sucker will decay accordingly). This function would be totally disabled in all pvp area.
