| hello,
i played some days now.
i have to say, that mining is most of the time not much rewarding...
if you find a small claim it is a hassle and boring to actually find it..so most of the time i just ignore it and go on unless it has a big enough size. on the other hand it is much easier and quicker to get the resources by just killing small bots.
so what's the solution?
makeit easier to actually find the claims (change the mining finder display)? make the range smaller so that you don't have to walk hundrets of meters to your claim? make bomb tt higher so you actually get higher value claims?
give your input;)
greeting, mag

| Mining is still in development, will see a lot of improvements in future updates. Besides better finders we can expect more exclusive probes (more expensive).
I agree with you on volume and distance on find and think others do also. The display / mining gui I like and guess you need to get more familiar with it before you like it also.
John is still tweaking the settings so just keep testing and give your feed-back all.

I would have agreed with you in the first days of mining but I am already used to how it is now. Still mining is just implemented and could see some changes in the near future. The most easy way to know for sure what direction your claim is located you have to look yourself north before going towards the dot on your finder.

| I agree with you, but in logical, if our compass rotate, the mining compass must rotate . There must be a consistency in the interface | |

True, John had tried to get it rotate along with the radar but in the end it was more easy to keep it like this. Still we never know how the future develops as the mining is new to the project.

| Some random non-essential items (gear, relics, ... kinda like Arkadia mining) in finds could be cool. | |

| Guess we will see much more resources in future updates. Also suggested to the developers the option to salvage old stuff from our ancestors with mining like disposed plastic waste, and other waste from past times. | |
